Spider + Man (David/future King) = a story to tell….
Fleeing from King Saul, David hides in the strongholds at Ein Gedi (1 Samuel 23:29 and 24:1-2) and Saul seeks him “even upon the most craggy rocks, which are accessible only to wild goats” (1 Samuel 24:2). The story tells us about a spider that was working faster than Spiderman in making his net at the cave entrance, so when Saul’s soldiers took a look at the entrance of David’s cave they saw a net and a spider. If you see a spider net at the corner of your apartment you know for sure, that no Passover cleaning was made at that corner for several Passovers. This is exactly what Saul’s soldiers thought while observing the entrance of the cave: “how can David be inside if there is a net at the entrance?” This is how they passed over and David survived.
